Konrad came to us as part of a group of surrendered cats whose owner could not care for them. He was not used to people, playing, safety, or even consistent food....until now. :) Konrad is starting to enjoy the volunteers company and waits by the door for visitors. Hes quite a curious guy, who mirrors the confidence of other cats around him. He seeks them out for comfort, as well. He is 4 years old, he is a very sweet guy with a calming demeanor, and so very shy.

Wed like Konrads new home to have a confident, friendly, accepting cat to help him gain more confidence and friendship, or for him to get adopted with one of his fellow rescued friends. He is good friends with Millie (also listed on on our site) and other roommates (wisp, Stache, Amelia)

Konrad will need a patient foster/adoptive parent who can give him all the time he needs to adjust, sit with him consistently, not force affections and let him come around in his own way. Consitency and positive reinforcement are key. Ask us about some of the other shy rescued cats who made a complete turnaround! :)
