Delaney is an incredibly affectionate and super-playful young kid that loves literally EVERYONE that comes into the cat house. He doesnt care if you are man or woman, child or even dog......Delaney is going to greet you and rub all over you the moment you enter the room! Delaneys life so far has been a sad one but he has defied the odds!Little man Delaney came to us from a concerned neighbor that found him very young, sick and alone, living outside with no shelter or food....no home. He was extremely sick and ended up being in the hospital for quite some time with a severe respiratory infection. Delaney was very lucky to have survived and for awhile we honestly werent sure he was going to. But he beat the odds and made it through the worst of it and came back to us to await his new forever family to come find him. He has the personality that he is so happy and grateful to still be alive, he just has to spread his joy to everyone who will stand still and let him rub on them. Delaney isnt exactly fond of being picked up and carried but he will crawl all over you and park it on your lap, purring like crazy and "making biscuits" with his front feet almost continuously! He is such a loverboy and makes sure that ALL who enter the cat house notice him!
Delaney still seems to have a perpetual case of the "sniffles", although he is healthy, happy, and plays like a kitten all day long. We are still working with the vet to help figure out why he still has a runny nose all the time, but it isnt something that is contagious to other kitties, just a result of the severe illness he had when he came to us. But it doesnt seem to bother him in the least, he is loving every minute of life! He will fit in well to any environment and will be a comical yet affection addition to any family.
