Maverick was found on a local road laying in the middle of the street after having been hit by a car.  He had a broken leg and was unable to move himself off of he road. Thank goodness a bystander stopped and got him off the road before he was struck a second time, and they brought him to our rescue.  He had his hind leg amputated and is now a three legged cat. He is doing absolutely wonderful and is now ready for a home where he can lounge and play all day.  He is incredibly sweet and thankful to us for saving him.  We adopt to all of Long Island and the New England area so inquire today!
