Description:
Hi my name is Merlin and I’m an adorable tabby & white boy. I was born in August 2021, found when I was 5 weeks old, hiding inside a car frame! Luckily they got me out before it was sent to the junkyard. I can be a bit cautious at first, but I am very sweet and calm. All I need is someone with a little patience and I’ll warm right up! I love to sleep cuddled up with my best friend Sami, and with my humans on their bed every night. I am very playful and I love other kitties! And I love to eat. I like to follow the house rules and am very well behaved. I’m neutered, microchipped, Vaccinated and FeLV & FIV tested negative.
And I’m Sami, born in May 2021, the softest, sweetest dilute calico girl around!! I look to my humans to judge how I should react to things, so if they tell me it’s ok then I’m fine. I have the cutest rusty purr and love to chat with you too! I love to snuggle with my buddy Merlin, and spend the rest of the time in my foster mom’s lap. Merlin and I both have a very calm, sweet energy. I was diagnosed with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) when I was 7 months old and I almost died! FIP, a genetic mutation, used to mean that vets put us kitties down, but now there is treatment!! My rescue paid for my lifesaving medication and my foster mom provided 84 days of intensive treatment for me. I am CURED!! However, I will be considered immunocompromised for the rest of my life, meaning I can never go outside, get flea medication or get any vaccines beside my yearly FVRCP. That’s why it’s best that I am adopted with my buddy, so that the transition to my forever is less stressful for me. I need a home that will be calm with not a lot of changes, but I am SO worth it!! I am spayed, microchipped, Vaccinated and FeLV & FIV tested negative.
