Introducing Lysander! He is a handsome little male kitten that was rescued from a high kill shelter in southern Illinois with his siblings where they were at risk of euthanasia. They have been lovingly cared for in a foster home and are now ready to find their forever families.

According to his foster, Lysander loves to spend time with his siblings and enjoys cuddling up on blankets to nap. He loves playtime! He is a watcher and loves to follow you around. Lysander loves to be petted and he loves to spend his days curled up next to you on the couch. He would do well in most environments and quickly makes friends.

Want to help care for him while he waits to find his forever home? You can be a "Sponsor!" Click on the "sponsor" button on this profile and your one-time donation will be used for vital everyday essentials such as his food, litter and medical care! Thank you for helping save lives!

All NAWS cats are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccines.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
