*** If you are interested in adoption, would like to meet any of our adoptable cats, or if you have any questions, please email catadoptions@nawsus.org. This is the easiest way to reach us. Please include a cell number and check your SPAM folder if you do not receive a timely response *** Introducing Brink! He is a handsome male kitten that was found as a stray before being brought into our rescue program. Despite being initially scared and shy, he has made amazing progress in one of our loving foster homes. It is amazing to see a formally timid kitten learn to trust and accept human love - he now just needs a forever home and a happy ending. According to his foster, Brink was tough to socialize at first - that is what makes his transformation even more heartwarming. He now likes attention and head scritches. He loves an adult resident cat in his foster home, and we think he would enjoy living with other kitty siblings. He likes to run and play and loves to play with toys that make noise so he can bat them across the floor. When he is tired, he looks for a cozy place to sleep. Mealtime is also a big hit! He is still nervous about going in a cat carrier, but with patience and love, we believe he will learn not to fear it. Brink has come a long way, and in a loving home with understanding adopters, he will become an amazing companion. All NAWS cats are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccines.
