Hi! My name is Dax! I was born on 5/6/2022. I am 12 weeks old now and still waiting for my new home. Playing is one of my favorite things to do besides climbing around on my play pen. My siblings and I are always in a match to see who can pounce better... but I usually win! When I am not playing and pouncing around I enjoy sunbathing or cuddling up with my friends. There is a couple dogs in my foster house and I like them enough to try to grab them when they walk by but when they try to lick me its freaks me out lol. I am getting better with the vacuum and just sit in the corner and stare at it till it stops. One of my favorite toys is anything that is fluffy that I can throw around. I have a cardboard scratcher and I love to play with that and I also sleep on it sometimes as well. I am so excited to finally go out on my own and find my new family! I am the feisty guy in the litter and love to run around and play all the time. I have met dogs, cats, kids as young as 5, and even a turtle! I got along with all of them so if you have other animals and kids thats perfect and long as they think I am perfect as well. My foster mom did learn that I believe the vaccum is the most evil thing in the world so I would prefer to be in a seperate room or get some sort of warning before anyone starts cleaning , last time I tried to be superman and fly through the room.. it didnt work. My mom was found after her previous owners moved and left her outside. I am a fiesty guy who loves to run around the house and find the best hiding spots. Once I find the best spots I like to wait for you to come around and play peek-a-boo. I would like to live in a house with older kids because I prefer to play rough and young kids dont understand that I am not trying to be mean. I am so excited to find a new house to explore! The adoption fee of each of our animals is listed underneath their pictures on their biography page. There will be information listed about the pet on that page as well.

If you would like more information, please click on the adopt button and fill out the Animal Inquiry form and that will be forwarded to the foster home so you can speak with them about the pet.

After you have spoken with a foster parent with Hands N Paws and have chosen a pet(s), you will be directed to fill out an Adoption Contract. Our adoptions are done on a first come first service basis unless a hold is placed on the pet(s). The hold is for up to 7 days and may be done when the Adoption Contract is submitted. You may place a hold by paying the Hold Fee of $25 per pet. The Hold Fee of $25 is Non-Refundable and will be in addition to the Adoption Fee. You may instead pay the full Adoption Fee which will also hold the pet(s). After 7 days, if the pet(s) have not been picked up, any fees paid will be forfeited and will be considered a donation to Hands N Paws Animal Assistance. 

We are a fostered based organization. Each of our animals are kept in individual homes where their foster parents can get to know them to help them find the best possible home. We will also be doing adoption events at Hales Farm and Feed in Ephrata, WA on the 2nd and 5th Saturday of each month from 10am - 2pm.
