••••••••••••••••••••••••

Ok, Im a little biased, but when I volunteered at a recent Catnip Cat Cafe KittenPalooza, Nico was the sweetest of the kittens.

Nico is a brown Tabby with classic bi-color, sporting a white chest and "boots."

He was the first to greet me at KittenPalooza, and he frequently came back to check on me, all amidst the chaos of twenty-some kittens. Hed pat me on the arm, jump on my lap for a quick nose-boop and a cuddle, then saunter off to play with the other little ones.

Unfazed by the bedlam that occurs when more than a handful of kittens are gathered together, Nico was cool, calm and collected. He was unfazed when feisty little tortoiseshell ("torties") kittens swiped at him. He urged the shy and hiding kittens to come out and join in the fun. And he was eager to play with everyone in the room, feline and human (including children) alike.

I am shocked — truly shocked — that this little boy has not been snagged by a loving family or single guy or gal.

Nico was rescued by one of Feral Affairs Networks expert trappers, along with his mom and two siblings (at barely three weeks of age). Nico is one of Kiki’s babies (which includes already adopted Trixie and Squeaks!).
