Meet Mick Jagger. Once strutting his stuff as the tomcat of North O, hes since turned in his outdoor ways for the safety and luxury of indoors. Mick is a special guy and can be a bit intimidating - hes 12lbs after all! He knows what he wants and when he wants it, and if its not exactly his way he will most certainly complain. Mick loves people, but on his own terms. Rubbing against your legs is not always an invitation to pet with this slightly ornery boy, sometimes he just wants to say hello. When he is in the mood for pets, he loves a good cheek and chin scratch. But move your hand any lower and hes likely to meet your unappreciated advances with a good wack! Despite his age and size, Mick can be quite the playful dude. He gets little bursts of kitten-like energy, especially when anything small in his sight moves! He must be reminiscing on those days outdoors, because he loves to play (and demolish) anything that resembles a mouse or bird. And when hes on the hunt, youll be sure to see that famous butt wiggle! Mick is a chatty guy, its probably his most charming trait. He can talk (well.. more like yell) for days and holds full conversations with his foster mom every day. Happy to see you? Yelling. Mad youd dare be in his presence? Yelling. Wants to hear his voice instead of yours? Yelling. Hungry? Definitely yelling. Mick will need to go to an experienced cat-home who wont why away from correcting any of his bad behavior. It will be especially important that his adopter either has an in-home vet or owns/is willing to purchase a humane trap to take him to the vet - he does NOT willingly go into a carrier and we can assure you thats a fight youre not going to win. Mick has not been around other cats aside from the colony he essentially invaded, which was obviously not well received by the resident colony cats. However, he has had multiple roomies in the crate next door and has been nothing but nice. Happy tail, good body language, and constantly chatting to attempt to befriend, so he would likely do fine with other cats with proper intros. Mick is roughly 3-years-old, neutered, fully vaccinated, flea treated, dewormed, FIV positive, and FeLV negative.
