In shelter Cat

Pittsboro, NC, 27312
Pet name:
Domestic Short Hair
Thumper is a gorgeous grey and white boy who came to us from a high kill shelter, and is adjusting to life at the refuge. Thumper wants to be loved but is very shy, perhaps from not being socialized very much before he came to us. He is looking for a patient, loving family that will give him all the love and attention he needs, but at his own pace. This special boy could blossom with the right care and attention, and will be much happier with a calmer life than he has at the refuge where people often come and go. If youre willing to give this handsome boy a chance to show you how loving he can be, come visit him today! Approx. DOB: 03/01/2013

If you would to adopt Thumper, please call our office at (919) 542-6815 to arrange a visit in person, and be sure to complete our online application, too ( Thumper is a cat for experienced cat owners only who understand patience, cat communication/body language and the need to allow the cat to bloom and bond 100% at their own pace over time. The home environment needs to be peaceful and tranquil, with no children under the age of 16. In addition to unrestricted access to a warm, safe home environment, Thumper also requires safe restricted access to the outdoors - for example, a screened porch or safe outdoor area with cat-proof fencing - so he cannot wander away from the safety and care of the home.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
