Sonic needs a quiet forever home with gentle, patient people.  In the 2.5 years he has been in foster care he has progressed from being very scared and aloof to being very social, chatty and curious.   Like a little dog, this handsome gent waits at the door to welcome you come home and follows you from room to room to make sure he’s not missing out on any fun!  Although he’s not a cuddly cat he likes to sprawl out on the desk or doze on a nearby chair if you’re working at the computer.  He sits on the sofa with you in the evenings for quiet companionship and sleep on the end of your bed too.   

Bird watching from the window or chasing toy mice are favorite pastimes but Sonic loves being outside in the catio or sitting near an open window to hear the birds or feel the breeze ruffle his fur.  

Loud noises startle him so he is not suited to a home with young children or dogs.  He wants to be “King of the Castle”.  Sonic needs Gabapentin twice daily to keep him calm after a rough few years in multiple environments.  He has settled well during the past 2.5 years and now travels well with his family, even staying in a pet-friendly hotel without fear.  The current caretakers are heart-broken to offer him up but an overseas move means Sonic needs one last stable loving environment.
