Neptune was heard crying from a car in the Muncie Wendys drive through line, and found wedged up under the hood on a very hot day. He was finally extracted and found to be very feral. He is still learning that people are not going to harm him, and is not convinced of that yet at all. He does have a buddy - Saturn - a super friendly and playful black male kitten who was found in downtown Portland, possibly also from under a car. It is our hope that someone will adopt both kittens together, as this little one likely will need the security of someone familiar when he goes to a forever home. Neptune is neutered soon, and looking for a very patient home. He is best buddies with Saturn, who is a very friendly kitten and who serves as Neptunes emotional support. All our young kittens are required to be adopted in pairs (or to homes with other cats or kittens) to prevent Single Kitten Syndrome. There are many benefits to adopting two kittens, including: One kitten can become bored and lonely Two kittens will keep each other busy and out of trouble Having two kittens is very entertaining! You will have fewer behavioral issues with two kittens You will help TWO babies get out of a shelter, instead of one, and make room for us to help more! Our adoption fees are reduced for a second kittenIf you are interested in adopting this pet, please go to www.midwestpetrefuge.com/adopt to complete an application.
