I was hiding something from my foster mom. She has dogs. I pretended to her I was just blah, whatever about the dogs. Well, she finally caught me more than once cuddling and sleeping with the dogs. I tried to keep it hidden, but it came out! So even if I am how I am, I can be a great friend to a dog!

I just had to put this out there before you read further because Ive been back in rescue for over 5 months.

I had a home for a year, but I am back with Whisker Stop. My previous owner had to do what was best for me. It was not through any fault of my own!

I do take a bit of time to get use to new things. But I do get use to them! I also am not a lap cat. I am more of a decoration cat I suppose you can say. I love to lay on the back of the couch, other places that look great to hang, and I just enjoy watching what is going on around me. If I want pets then I will come sit by you to get them. Or you can pet me anytime. I just prefer not to be picked up and toted around. I also will follow you around the house.

While I may be older, and not a lap cat, I am still a very loving and very good boy. I have no health issues.

I prefer a quieter house so no young children please.

I would love to find my people who do not mind a cat who is more of a decoration cat than a lap/snuggle cat. My new family also needs to have the patience with me to acclimate myself to a new home. I do get along fine with other cats!
