This is Elliot, a tan or "buff-colored" kitten, who is approximately 10 weeks old as of 9/17/21. He was born outside of an elderly mans home in Lyman, SC. We believe his birthdate is 7/8/2021. (Although it is possible he was born on the 7th or 9th since his mother had disappeared for a few days before returning with her kittens.) The elderly man had been feeding his mother, a friendly stray, who he affectionately called E.T. since her facial features were alien-like similar to a Devon Rex. After the death of one of E.T.s kittens, the gentlemans daughter took E.T. and her 3 remaining kittens to her home to care for them. Unfortunately, since they had been living outside, all of them were suffering from upper respiratory infections. Now, that Elliot is weaned and healthy, he is searching for his forever home. His foster mom said he loves to cuddle and enjoys playing with his siblings. Also, he loves to chase mice and to climb. Thus, he will definitely need a tall cat tree for entertainment! He has been dewormed, received all age-appropriate vaccinations, tested negative for both FeLV/FIV, and been microchipped. He is awaiting his neuter appointment. (NOTE: Elliot is still in foster care while awaiting space in one of our adoption centers--unless he is adopted first!) OUR ADOPTION PROCESS: Please apply for adoption by filling out an application at www.FelineLifelineSC.org. Once your application is reviewed, a volunteer will contact you within 48 hours for an interview by phone or send an email. (Be sure to check your "SPAM" folder.) If approved, we will schedule a meeting between you and the cat to make sure you both like each other. Thank you for your interest!
