Description:
Hello! My name is Filbert! If you are looking for a purry, snuggling, loving, goofy, lazy orange lap cat, look no further. My favorite activities include playing fetch with my poof ball toy, chasing the mysterious red dot, napping on soft blankets or in sun spots, and sleeping in my foster moms arms. I get along really well with other cats, and love to play and wrestle. Ive met dogs and theyre ok when they dont bark. I travel well, and would do well with a family with a lake cabin I can go to. I love meeting new people too!

You may notice that my back legs are a little different. Ive seen a neurologist and several specialists and they confirmed that my body condition is great, my quality of life is excellent and I am in absolutely no pain. I do have some use of my back legs, but mostly scoot around with my upper body. My forever parents should plan to continue to do some stretches and exercises with me to keep me strong. I do have some long term care needs. Foster mom works in an office and finds my care to be easy and manageable with a 9-5 job. She expresses my bladder 3-4 times/day (its easy and we can train you). Im working on my poop etiquette and its up to you if you want to keep me in diapers or let me go without.

Dont be intimidated- my care is pretty simple, and I am just about the sweetest kitten on earth, so hopefully it will feel like a joy to keep me healthy and happy even if its a bit more work.

I cant wait to find my perfect furrever family!!!!

Kittens need buddies! We require that kittens be adopted in pairs, or go to a home that already has another young companion animal. If you already have a young animal or another kitten in your home, great! If not, Filbert will need to be adopted with another kitten.

The adoption fee for a kitten is $250.
