Age/DOB: 5-17-21 This is Pumpkin! He has been in foster care for just over a year and its time he found his forever home. Dont let. his "grumpy face" fool you! This boy is nothing but love and deserves to be in a forever home that is ready for a sweet, affectionate guy that loves to chase wand toys and lasers but also lounge in your lap to sleep while you give him lots of love! Hes such a sweet guy but has been passed over because he is a young adult and not a kitten. But a sweet guy like this is a gem! Unlike a kitten, youll already know his personality. Sweet, loving and kind! He welcomes any new foster cata/kittens that come to his foster moms home and is always ready to make a friend. He loves the kittens and gets the nickname of Uncle Pumpkin because he loves to watch them play through the kennel gate. If youre looking for that guy who is sweet, gentle and will be your best friend, Pumpkin is it! Given his sweet nature, he would do great in a household with children, adults, and probably dogs - although he has not been around dogs yet. His fosters imaginary family for him would be one with one or two young kids (around 6 or older) that are gentle with pets and have lots of love to give. Im sure he would love to have a kitty friend too as he is very social with any new cats or kittens that arrive in his foster home. If you are willing to give Pumpkin a chance, fill out an adoption application with Purrs & Whiskers and hopefully you can take him home with you! I need to eat a special diet so my tummy doesnt get upset, but the rescue can tell you more about it if you are interested in me. A little history about me... I was rescued from a colony that was being cared for by a widow whose husband had recently passed away. He had been the primary caretaker for our colony, but when he passed, his wife took over caring for us. However, some of the cats started having kittens (likes and my littermates) and the lady was put in contact with Purrs & Whiskers (P&W) to help. P&W Trapped, Spayed/Neutered, Vaccinated and Returned (TNVRd) all the feral adult cats and saved the sweet kittens. Now the colony is stable with the feral cats and the kittens are all finding great homes! Im hoping to find mine too! Could you possibly be my furever family? Fill out an app and lets see where this journey takes us! I am spayed/neutered, tested negative for FIV/ FeLV, microchipped, dewormed, treated with Revolution, and am up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines.
