Description:
Meet Andrew!
He is 5 years old and was sadly left behind by his previous owner. He was fending for himself for over a year and was lucky to make it safely at the shelter. He has been with us since February And its taken him a bit to trust us, understandably so. Hes finally starting to come around and likes to play and loves treats. He is still weary of humans but he has shown a lot of improvement since he has first arrived.
Andrew needs a patient owner. Someone who will let him do what he wants, give him a lot of time to gain your trust and a loyal companion. Someone who realizes it may take months for him to earn trust.
His ideal purrson should have a quiet home, another feline friend he can chum around with. No children or dogs in the home. A cat saavy owner who is not afraid to help Andrew with some social skills and knowing theres no time limit where he needs to "succeed"
Andrew is also part of our Take A Chance On Me Program. This means We would waive his adoption fee for the right home for. You must have a reliable and consistent vet reference. Check out our website (ahimsahaven.org) for more details.
If you are interested in adopting, please fill put an application online at ahimsahaven.org . Meet and greets are with an approved application by appointment only.
As always, cats that are ready to be adopted are spayed/neutered, have age appropriate shots, are micro-chipped, dewormed/deflead, and FEL/FIV tested.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
