************************************************************************************************ TOM is part of a bonded pair and MUST be adopted with HIS partner, TILLY. ************************************************************************************************ ***IN FOSTER*** Please say hello to tabby Tom! Tom is part of a bonded pair with Tilly; the two met in their previous home, and have been bonded ever since. Unfortunately, their familys living circumstances changed, and they were surrendered so that they could find a new loving home. Tom has always been gentle and shy towards people he doesn’t know. He prefers to hide in these circumstances, so you can imagine the adjustment he had when he was uprooted from the only home he knew. Thankfully he had Tilly at his side. With a lot of patience, handsome Tom has grown to trust people and is a star at communicating his needs. He likes stability, routine and a calm environment. And one of the best ways to help him get settled in an unfamiliar environment is through brushing (he absolutely loves to be brushed!). Now that Tom feels more confident, he actively seeks out affection with a head bump or a little meow. He will even let you pick him up and will nestle his head into your arm. He also has a playful side; he and Tilly like to play with all sorts of toys, but especially the ones with catnip. Tom and Tilly are bonded and need to be adopted together. We aren’t sure how they would be with other pets, or young children, though considering Tom still startles at loud noises or unexpected activity, it would probably be best for them to find a quiet, adult-only home. Given his history and his nature, he’ll likely need a bit of time and patience to open up in his new home. Do you fancy yourself to be the tender heart to give Tom (and Tilly) a second chance at the good life? If so, reach out to EHS today. -------------------- The adoption fee for a single cat at EHS is $175. Take home an adult feline friend for your kitty and the adoption fee for the pair is $300!
