Description:
Joey aka Jo-Jo~born~January 2016

Joey was adopted from PAAW over a year ago, but now is being returned because his adopters fiance does not get along with him.

Joey loves to be petted, and will sit with you and talk to you but he is also a very independent boy as well and likes to do things on his own terms. He would do best in a home with older kids. He is good with cats, and not sure about all dogs. He would love to meet you--- trust me once you see him in person you will want to adopt him right away. He cant wait to meet you!

Joey Lee is FIV positive. But, please do not let that hinder your ability to love him! FIV+ cats are no different from other kitties except for their immunodeficiency. Often they show no signs at all. Joey is thriving and happy, loving and sweet. He would make a wonderful companion! Please consider giving him a forever home.

Joey is available for a special FIV+ adoption fee which includes feluk/fiv combo test, current vaccines, spay/neuter, and microchip!

FIV+ cats need love too! FIV is species specific, meaning only cats can be infected. FIV+ cats can live just as long as Non-FIV cats. If introduced properly, FIV and Non-FIV cats can live happy and healthy lives together. The virus is very frail and can only live outside the body for a few seconds, and requires serious physical interaction, like deep bite wounds. Normal social interactions, such as grooming, sharing food and water bowls and litter boxes have no known risk of transmission.

The special adoption fee can give you and the cat years of love and companionship.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
