Polar is a loyal, vocal, and loving older kitty. He loves warm spots in the sun, attention, and the crinkle of a treat bag. He wants someone to be his family again! He makes an astounding variety of noises, including a his trademark Mmm? which is a noise he makes with his mouth closed when he wants attention, but you look busy. He defers to other cats and doesnt get mad if someone else eats his dinner, although he is a hungry guy. Hes still on the slim side, though hes put weight on since Community Cat took him in. Polar would make a great companion for someone who wants loyal friend. Polar will remind you how much you mean to him whenever he sees you! His only special request is that you put a thyroid pill in a capsule and add to his wet food twice a day due to his overactive thyroid. His thyroid pills (methimazole) cost under $5 per month, the capsules are under $1 per month. He would do well in home with older children.
