Description:
Poor little Jethro was found on the side of the road eating rocks for his nourishment. He was so skinny and malnourished that he appeared much younger than his actual age. He has not had an easy road when it comes to recovering from his difficult young life, but we have him on the road to good health now and we are ready to introduce him to the world so he can start bossing someone else around for a change. LOL

Jethro is your typical outspoken hound. He LOVES to communicate his feelings, but really, we think he just likes to get all the attention. He is a very social dog and is currently living with other dogs of all sizes and temperaments which he handles with ease. He has not met a stranger yet – but since he has only had one set of shots, he does not get to go out a lot...yet.

We think he is an English Coonhound based on his body type, howl and coloring. But, we really do not know what breed he is except cute.

If you’d like more information on this angel, please go to https://animalaidms.org/adopt/ and complete an application. The submission of the application will prompt a phone call. Once we’ve discussed the pet with you and deem a potential fit, we’ll set up a meet and greet (either virtual or in person) at which time we can also conduct a home visit. If this goes well, we will verify your references, both vet and personal (if necessary). If all checks out, we’ll contact you to discuss further adoption arrangements such as transportation. Transport costs will apply on top of the pet’s adoption fee, which varies depending on the animal.

We reserve the right to deny adoption. Our job as a rescue is to ensure that the animals we save are able to leave their past behind and live their best life.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
