Description:
Harry was rescued from a shelter in Livingston, Texas. It was a hoarding case. He came to us scared and confused. He is approx. 2 years old and 43 lbs. Harry is a laid back kinda guy. He is now going to daycare, and he is walking on a leash, and is doing much better every day. He is actually loving his play group of dogs at daycare. He would do best though in a one dog, or no dog family as he is calmer and quiet in nature.

Harry did test positive for heartworms and is currently being treated , he has no symptoms , he is a light positive and this should not affect his health. He is on a slow kill protocol and is not restricted from exercise. Harry is a very timid, sweet unsocialized boy that needs a patient adopter, who is willing to give him the time he needs to trust.

Harry is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. We required a fenced in yard, and no young children. We will do a 10-day trial adoption to make sure it is a good fit for all. Applicants that live within an hour of Grovertown are preferred.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
