Description:
Hello there! My name is Chappie. Its a pleasure to make your acquaintance!

Im a super handsome and sweet boy that is guaranteed to make you laugh with my playful antics and binky skills! I got the name "Chappie" because I have black markings on the back of my hind legs that look like Im wearing cowboy chaps; you can see them when I hop around!

I might be timid at first while I acclimate to new surroundings, so Ill need a few days to get used to things. Loud noises and sudden movements are still a little scary to me, but after a few seconds when I realize that Im okay, Ill go back to doing my bunny stuff. To help me get more used to different sounds, my foster humans now have me free roaming in a large living room. They say that my litterbox habits are AWESOME, and I havent chewed on anything other than some foam tiles on the floor. But just to be safe, theyve bunny-proofed the room so I dont have access to cords. I havent shown any interest in the wooden tables or couches, other than exploring whats underneath them.

I like to toss my plastic cups and rings around. I also love to run through tunnels to ensure Im properly prepared for the Bunny Circuit 500! Did someone mention food? I absolutely LOVE to eat! I regularly enjoy romaine, cilantro, and parsley, but Ive been known to eat pretty much any veggie thats put on my plate. I go "bananas" for a slice of banana, and also love to snack on a few craisins as a treat. Ill eat treats out of your hand, which is also a great way to earn my trust.

My foster humans nicknamed me "Mr. Wiggles" because I wiggle my tail a lot when Im happy. They also call me, "Happy Chappie." Ive been to these fun things called "Romp and Spas" a couple of times and seem to get along with the other bunnies, but Im not sure yet how Id feel about a bondmate.

My foster humans think Id do best in a

quiet home with no kids or other pets so I can be the center of attention.

I dont really like being kept in my expen. In fact, Ill let my humans know that I disapprove of this by flipping my water dish over. I cant help it - its just that I love to be free!

I enjoy being pet on my head, ears, and body. Ill often even stretch out my front paws when my humans scratch my cheeks. Sometimes Ill let them cup my head in their hand and Ill give them kisses to let them know how much I like what theyre doing.

If youre looking for a funny guy who loves toys and treats, thats me!

I would love to have an opportunity to meet you to see if we can be a good match. If youre interested, please fill out an adoption application at:

RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA.

If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
