CocoMelon
Approx. 3 yrs old male. 
CocoMelon is in need of an EXPERIENCED adopter. He often elicits attention and his two favorite things to do are cuddle on the couch or suckle a favorite toy. He is non destructive, never picks up anything that isnt his toy, potty trained and extraordinarily good in a crate. He does have a tendency to mark areas where other dogs have been but will stop once he has settled into a new place. 

CocoMelon has resource guarding behaviors that require an experienced owner and patience. 
DO NOT apply if you have children or children visiting. 

Please consider your level of experience and preparedness to work through these issues if you do apply.

2. Meet with the dog or cat. Bring treats/toys if you would like.
During COVID and for TRANSPORT- Virtual Home Visit using Facetime

3. If adoption is approved - Complete Adoption Contract

2022 adoption donations- 

Local (South Florida) cat adoption - $150
Local  (South Florida) dog adoption - $300

Out of state cat adoption:
One cat- $250
Two cats- $350

Out of state dog adoption:
One dog - $400


All donations are tax deductible.

Adoption donation for dogs includes Spay/Neuter, Up to Date Vaccines, Microchip,  Deworming, and Heartworm Check if needed.  
Adoption donation for cats/kittens includes Spay/Neuter, Up to Date Vaccines, Deworming, FeLV/FIV testing and Microchip

5. Thank you! This is the Dog! does not have a shelter. Our dogs and cats are in foster homes primarily in Homestead, FL. We are a small group of volunteers making a difference in the lives of people and the dogs/cats that we help.
