Meet Poncho Blanco! Poncho is a white German shepherd. He may have something else mixed in but we aren’t sure. He is about 6 to 8 months old and currently weighs about 45 pounds. He should be a fairly large dog when he’s grown, probably 75 to 90 pounds. He came to us very scared but has gotten plenty of socialization at his foster home. He is still working on his leash training and will need lots of practice to make walks fun and exciting. Poncho is doing very well at crate training as well as potty training. Poncho has learned to play with other dogs and meet new people. We are very excited for Poncho to finally have a home he can call his own. Interested in becoming a forever home for Poncho? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we dont go any further without an application. Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws. We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting Poncho. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and Poncho the perfect forever home, and appreciate you working with us. For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process. Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or theres an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!
