Hi! Im a handsome and smart boy. I have been at the shelter for a long time, partly because I am too smart. I love playing, retrieving and learning new tricks. I am good on a leash, enjoy car rides, and hiking. I am slow to warm up to new people and may require more time for you to get to know me. If you are looking for a confident dog that is eager to please, I am your guy. I am good at all basic commands plus more. I would benefit with an experienced dog owner as well as someone whose location is relatively close to the shelter so frequent warm up visits are possible.
