Hes healed from his surgery, finished his antibiotics for an upper respiratory infection, and put on almost 10 pounds. Hes potty trained, crate trained, and leash trained (and such a good walker!). Hes happy to loaf around and loves getting pets and playing with his toys. Hes such a happy, loveable guy! Hes still timid around new people, but he warms up quickly with treats. The next hurdle is meeting new dogs. He gets overly excited and barks, which makes introductions stressful for everyone. Were working on it daily, and I think with time and patience he will be a very happy pack member in his new forever family. Pierce is doing great! When we take walks, he barks at people and dogs if he feels nervous, so were working on getting him to walk calmly by strange people and dogs.
