Description:
We’re calling this happy tornado Rocky! Rocky will happily play/interact with you and or gleefully entertain himself with balls and chew toys. In this house, we ask: “toys or trouble?” We pick TOYS! Rocky’s new home will need a treasure chest of toys and balls! Rocket Man is never short on enthusiasm….including counter surfing, table surfing and all other puppy shenanigans. He’s a player AND all puppy; ready and willing to learn. Rocky’s foster home includes three large breed male dogs and a dog savvy senior kitty. He does well with all. If he gets too friendly with kitty, a simple “leave kitty alone” and TOY redirection works. Rocky makes excellent eye contact with his handlers, be they male or female. He would enjoy learning agility games, nose work, barn hunt and or dock diving > there’s a lot of spring in his booty, and, again, he’s a player! In short, Rocky is a fun dog!!! No lounge lizards, couch potatoes or fun-wreckers need apply! Rocky is a Shepherd mix, maybe a year old, if that, weighing 48 pounds. Rocket Man is an athlete and will not get much bigger. He’s neutered, current on core vaccines, heartworm negative, and micro-chipped. House-trained and crate-trained. Rocky’s new home must have a securely fenced in yard (no invisible fences.) Rocket Man was an unclaimed stray once and we want to be sure that never ever happens again. Rocky’s new peeps will be required to complete an obedience class, at their cost, shortly after adopting him. Children under 10 years old would not appreciate his enthusiasm. Rocky would pair well with another young, playful, active dog similar in size or larger. If Rocky sounds like the boy dog for you, please complete our adoption application and tell us how you plan to raise and train this happy tornado we call Rocky!
