They call me Stan - Stan the Man! 

I’m a German Shepherd mix! My Trainer calls me a pocket Shep since I’m only 52 lbs and I’m almost two years old. I LOVE to go everywhere - restaurants, parks, a good swimming hole. You name it. I will be your sidekick. I really enjoy meeting new people too, both big and small. Playing with my foster siblings is a blast! I dont think I’ve ever met a K-9 friend I didn’t like.

Life is good in Texas, but I’d love to come to the Northeast (where its cooler) and to have a family to call my own! I did have heartworm when I was rescued but went throught treatment and am now fully recovered. I even have a doctors note to say I am very healthy.

I am crate trained but do prefer to be with my people whenever possible. I think I would really thrive with an active family - one that will take me on lots of adventures and places to swim. I know I mentioned I like activity, but guess what? I also love to cuddle. I sometimes forget my size and think Im a lap dog. 

Stan is neutered and up to date on his shots and will come with a certificate of health. His adoption fee is $300.
