Say hello to Clay! This good boy was rescued and is ready for a forever home! Clay is 7 years old and about 55 pounds making him a miniature german shepherd. He is both house and potty trained and sleeps in his crate each night. Clay is a very loving dog but his style of play may be a little rough for some other dogs tastes. Because of that, he would be best in a home as an only dog or with a smaller female dog. Clay loves to have his belly rubbed and will give little kisses. He has not been tested around cats or children. Clay alternates between a napping dog and an active dog so hed love to go for walks and other activities. Be warned that Clay likes to go outside after dark and bark at anything he can find and to hunt night animals. For this reason, you would need to curtail his night ventures. He will happily replace that behavior with a nap. Also he appears to have some allergy sensitivity and might need some occasional antihistamines. All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise.
