#BondedPair Up For #Adoption
Ladies & Gentlemen grab on to your seats as our #DynamicDuo Jack & Ralph have both finished their heartworm treatments and are finally up for Adoption! You may remember these dapper men from when our rescue family spent a full week in freezing temps to trap both boys & Mama Mara, along with her 5 puppies. It completely broke our hearts when we found out that all 3 were heartworm positive. But it was no surprise after finding out from neighbors that they had been roaming the streets of East Detroit for around 7 months. Sadly on intake it was impossible to simply keep All 3 adults together plus the 5 (5 week old) pups, but thankfully these 2 boys got to stay together. That being said, both Jack and Ralph will rely and depend on each other and will be adopted out as a #Bonded Pair (No Exceptions).

#Jacks Bio:
#Dapper, #Playful & #Loving, Ladies and Gentlemen meet Jack. He is 2.5 years old and, 66 lbs and a #GermanShepherd mix. He is very shy at first, but will warm up with time. He loves to hide under a table or cower to the floor until he feels safe. He may have never known a loving hand for the first 2 years of his life and he is learning to trust humans again. Jack & Ralph are going to be #Adopted out as a #BondedPair.

Jack loves to play with toys since he learned what those are. He plays well with his teenage foster and adult humans. He is good with the 2 year old baby in the foster home and tries to play with her by grabbing her clothes or diaper. He just needs to be told easy with her and he will play gentler until he gets too excited again and then needs to be reminded. He is good around other dogs and does well with little introduction. He is a #amazing dog and with the right amount of love and patience he could be the best dog for your family! He does play bite when he wants to play and if he does it too hard just tell him too hard and he stops. He listens very well and takes commands well.

His #dogsitter trains #GermanSheperds and Jack does great with him and his pack. He is great with both male and female dogs. He does talk and howl, but mostly when he is lonely or when his brother is at the vet without him. He takes meds well wrapped in a piece of salami or anything else you want to give him! He is definitely food motivated! He loves fish skin treats, ice cream, the fresh food dog toppers (cooler dog aisle), cod treats and Kong bones or shin bones filled with peanut butter or cheese.
He loves to be #active, run, jump, walk fast, hike, boat. He would be the best dog for a #active person. He needs to be on low activity for a little while longer as he is a #heartworm survivor! He just had his last treatment and will go for one more check at the vet in early July to make sure all the heartworm is eliminated. He has done great at the vet, besides being fearful and come through this treatment like a true #champ. He is a #funloving pup and will do an amazing job being the best dog he can be for you. He walks well on a leash and loves a good car ride with his brother Ralph. He does not like to ride in the car without his brother and becomes a bit fearful without his brother. They do #besttogether. The best things are worth the wait and seeing Jack come out of his shell for you would be #amazing.

He would do best in a house with other dogs, being adopted with his brother Ralph and with someone who is always home or home a lot. He does best with a #dogsitter and not a kennel situation for boarding. He is crate trained for when you are gone, but will howl and talk as soon as he hears you. He is a #wonderful dog who craves love, attention and a good cuddle.

#Ralphs Bio:
#Handsome, #Playful & #Loving, Ladies and Gentlemen meet Ralph. He is 6 years old and, 68 lbs and a #GermanShepherd He is a little shy at first, but warms up pretty quickly. Ralph loves to play with toys since he learned with those are since he has been at his fosters home as well as play with his teenage foster and adult humans. He is good around other dogs and does well with little introduction. He is good around the 2 year old human foster baby in the home. He is an #amazing dog and with the right amount of love and patience he could be the best dog for your family! He does play bite when he wants to play and if he does it too hard just tell him too hard and he stops. He listens very well and takes commands well. His #dogsitter trains #GermanShepherds and Ralph does great with him and his pack. He is great with both male and female dogs. He does talk and howl, but mostly when he is lonely or when his brother is at the vet without him. He is a tricky med taker and a picky treat taker, but we have found some things he loves! He loves fish skin treats, ice cream, the fresh food dog toppers (cooler dog aisle), cod treats and chicken nuggets.

He loves to be active, run, jump, walk fast, hike, boat. He would be the best dog for an #active person. He is a #gentleheart and although this breed is looked at as guard dogs he would fail at that. He walks well on a leash and loves a good car ride with his brother #Jack. He does not like to ride in the car without his brother and becomes a bit fearful without his brother. They do #besttogether. The best things are worth the wait and seeing #Ralph come out of his shell for you would be #amazing. He would do best in a house with other dogs, being adopted with his brother #Jack and with someone who is always home or home a lot. He does best with a #dogsitter and not a kennel situation for boarding. He is crate trained for when you are gone, but will howl and talk as soon as he hears you. He can be an escape artist so please use a carabineer on the top and bottom of his kennel or look for a heavy duty kennel. He is a #wonderful dog who craves love, attention and a good walk.
