Skylar is a 1 year and 3 month old GSD/Husky mix that is currently with a great foster family that has other dogs. He is house trained and uses the doggie door.
He is learning manners slowly but with treats and patience, Skylar is able to learn. He knows “sit” and “wait” especially when being fed. He uses a slow feeder for his meals. Skylar goes on a 2 mile walk every day.
Skylar barks at other dogs while on leash but his foster mom believes this is out of curiosity to meet the dogs. He spends time at the dog park and runs around with no signs of aggression. Because Skylar is part Husky, he is naturally vocal. It’s his way of saying “hey, I want to meet you and play”!
He is a bored chewer so his foster parents provide him with many toys and Nylabones.
Skylar likes to sleep on the couch at night.
He likes being with his foster family and his fur siblings.
