Rocky is a gorgeous 3-4 yr old, approx 60 lb, German Shepherd who was surrendered when his family could no longer care for him.  He lived with a large Great Dane/Lab mix who has a submissive personality and socially good with other dogs.  They had good brotherhood but do not need to be adopted together, and proves he would be fine living with another large/larger dog with the right personality. Rocky would do well in a home who has some dog or shep experience and can continue to offer him structure and leadership that he is so great with.  He walks very well on leash with a good leader and looks up to check with his person while walking.  While Rocky enjoys his walks, he is also happy to kick back and hang out with his people, or hang out in a secure yard - running around and chasing balls.  A single person, retiree, a couple or people with kids over 12 yrs in the home would suit him well.  Please note that we are currently set up to adopt within the Los Angeles county area.
