Wolverine – Friendly, Playful and Strong

Wolverine is a handsome, strong and friendly large German Shepherd dog looking for his forever family. He loves to play and run around outside, getting a full head of steam playing fetch and stretching his legs. When inside, Wolverine is happy and excitable and just wants to be with friends and keep everyone warm.

This boy is also extremely intelligent. He knows all of his commands and enjoys sniffing and searching for items. He enjoys walks and exercise and being with people. When he first came to Sedona, Wolverine pulled hard after cars and dogs, but after a solid training program, Wolverine walks like a champ. We will require one free refresher training session upon adoption.

According to the shelter, Wolverine may have spent most of his time as an outside dog. Since coming to Sedona, Wolverine keeps his run clean and has taken being around dogs in stride. He appears to not mind the other German Shepherd or friendly dogs, going on pack walks with his new friend Sparky. Based on his size any potential adopter with a dog will require at least 2 meetings.

Wolverine is about 6 years old and over 100 pounds. He is healthy with no underlying medical issues. Wolverine is incredibly affectionate and is friendly upon immediately meeting new people. Based on his size and strength, we are looking for an adopter with large breed dog experience and preferably a fenced in yard.

If you are interested in finding out more about Wolverine, please email us at contact@sedonashepherd.com. Wolverine is also a candidate for our foster to adopt program, which allows a potential adopter the opportunity to foster Wolverine for 3 weeks prior to committing to an adoption. If you are interested, please fill out an adoption application.
