Arcuso was saved with 7 other dogs in a high kill shelter in Texas . It was really on the second . They were already opening the kennels to euthanize . There is no mercy in those areas with an intake of hundred dogs a day . 

Luckily we have boots on the ground and they blocked the kennels until our transporter arrived . It saved their lives and they could straight to our vet . 

Arcuso was dragged out of his kennel with the metal pole . The poor thing was completely confused . When he arrived in NY he warmed pretty quick up to me . 

He is also ok with one of our male volunteers but does not like men in general . He is totally not aggressive but will growl if a man comes to close in his face. For this reason we prefer a female adopter . 

Arcuso is good with other dogs . He is easy on the leash and became my personal velcro dog . He plays nice , energetic but not overdone . 

We would love to see him with a wonderful person who can let him forget his past . He is truly a gentile soul . 

He is around 5 years , Good with other dogs but not with cats .
