Meet Brody (black/tan) & Tucker (tan)

These two boys have come a long way in a short time. They were found in the desert with three other siblings. Someone took them out to the desert and dropped ALL five boys off and left! These puppies were suffering from starvation, heat stroke, and low glucose levels.

Volunteers rushed them to the Arizona Humane Society. Two were immediately assessed. They were sick and suffering from seizures, the decision was made to help them cross the rainbow bridge. AHS decided they could not take in the other three in case they had distemper.

Our shelter staff jumped into action for the other three. They were all quarantined and assessed. During the night one of the pups became very ill. Again, we had to make a tough decision. The two remaining puppies made it through the night!

We tended to them around the clock for 3 days. Each day their health improved. Today you wouldn’t know that they were so close to not making it!

The puppies are doing AMAZING! They love to play! They are still young; the vet thinks they are around 4 months old.

Adopters need to be savvy with this breed. These dogs are HIGH energy! They will need someone who has the time and patience to train and exercise them.

The boys have not been exposed to other dogs, kids, or cats. We have no doubt these two are special! Someone was watching over them!

Brody & Tucker are ready for their forever homes since they are chipped, up to date on their puppy vaccines, and neutered!
