Description:
Meet Derry/Cash. He is a 3 year old German Shepherd/Australian cattle dog/Australian Shepherd mix, with some Bassett hound thrown in there for good measure. Approximately 75 pounds. Super sweet and loving. Needs to be only dog. No cats, although he loves kids and being on the trampoline with them, we dont recommend small children due to his size and herding instinct. He is very fence aggressive with other dogs next to fence (owner can explain exactly what he does, not aggressive towards people. Not aggressive toward dogs when walking on leash). He is a bit scared around new things, but just takes a few minutes to mellow out. Not good with loud noises, hence tranquilizers on the 4th. He could use some more training. He does know basic commands but is not a fan of crates. He loves doggie doors, chasing tennis balls, being with his person and pet beds but does prefer a king size bed! He needs a new home because his owner is experiencing health issues and had to move in with family who have dogs that he does not get along with. FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
