Hi, my name is Harvey and Im so excited to meet you, did you bring a ball??? I love to play fetch and then when I need a rest I like to lay down and scrunch it with my teeth. I love to go for a walk and am a well-behaved fellow when seeing other dogs and people. Know what else I like - water, I love splashing around and will put my whole head under water to try and get a ball out. I like the neighborhood kids to come and say hello. I really want to chase the squirrels but I know I cant when I have my leash on, so I just watch them run up the trees. I already know how to sit, lay down, shake, and wait. Come meet me soon, my foster mom says my perfect family is looking for me, could it be you?

Harveys Foster Mom:

Harvey is a happy go lucky boy whos quiet in the house and loves to run in the yard. He is a high energy boy for his age and would be a great as a running partner, or part of an active family. When he was cat tested he had no interest in the cats, nose bumped one and then turned away, the cats didnt run so caution is advised if he goes to a family with cats to make sure he is really cat safe. He has a high prey drive outside. Its possible that his lack of interest in inside cats results from living with them previously. With slow introductions Harvey is good with large and small dogs, male and female. He would do best as an only dog or with calmer dogs who want a companion rather than a playmate but his play skills are improving daily. Harvey is super smart and very trainable, and he desperately wants to make his humans happy and LOVES treats. Harvey is crate trained, house trained and walks well on leash. He takes treats very gently. He is nervous in the car but improving each time he goes for a ride. Harvey likes attention but isnt needy and hasnt shown signs of separation anxiety in his foster home. Harveys a big boy looking for his forever family.
