Description:
The first thing you notice about Tippy is her absolute beauty. Stunning would only begin to describe her. But a closer look reveals a sadness that can break your heart. Tippys eyes are indeed the window into her soul and they reveal a little girl trying to do her best to be brave in a world that frightens her so much.

We dont know her background, but we do know that when she joined Coastal she was so overwhelmed by the noise of the kennel. Strangers were so scary for her. She didnt open up easily, until she made a special friend who came to visit her every day. But even the love of her new friend wasnt enough to help Tippy relax. She was barely a year old, and whatever trust in humans she had learned in her life before had melted away when she found herself in the shelter. We knew it would take a long time for Tippy to build a bond, and we knew that meant it would take a long time for Tippy to find a home. The kennel was just not the place for her to relax and learn to trust.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
