Description:
Oscar has a condition called Megaesophagus. In short, this means he has to eat in a special chair, that is called a Baileys Chair. This allows her to be in an upright position to allow gravity to help the food work its way down. Besides how he eats, he is a typical happy dog!

Adoption fees vary by each pet and includes mandatory spay/neuter surgery, first round of vaccines and deworming, microchip and registration, and a free wellness exam.

Ruff Patch Rescue is a foster home based organization, which means we do not have a physical location. The best way to learn more about one of our pets or to schedule a time to meet them is to visit our website - www.RuffPatchRescue.com - and submit an adoption application. This is the first step scheduling a private meet and greet, which is typically held during our adoption event hours on Saturday at the Riverton PetSmart from 1pm to 3pm.

Answers to other general questions can also be found on our website. For current updates on events, follow us on Facebook and/or Instagram!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
