River and his brother, Banks, came into rescue as tiny 5-6 week old puppies. they were both covered in fleas and dirt. once they got to their foster home and got food in their bellies and baths to get them all clean, they began to feel good enough to play with all of the toys they could! the first couple of days, river was the calm brother that slept most hours of the day. after that, rivers real personality started to show and he played his heart out! we would love to see river and banks go to the same home because they are very attached but know that even if they can’t go to the same home, they will both thrive!
