Meet Oso Gordo! This sweet little bear-looking dog is probably a mix of many breeds including Golden retriever and some type of shepherd. Oso is about 10 weeks old and 12 pounds. We think he will be a medium to larger dog, maybe 50 to 70 pounds when fully grown. He is a happy-go-lucky well-socialized puppy! He’s doing great on his health training as well as leash training. He will need practice to make walks fun and exciting. He is a very good boy and plays well with others!

We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you.  Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting Oso.

Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses.

All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or theres an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
