Handsome Milo was found like so many other dogs in Texas; roaming the street as a stray. He was picked up by the shelter before making his way to the rescue. When Milo first came to us he was heartworm positive. But this sweet boy completes his heartworm treatment this week, and after a final period of crate rest he will be ready to transport to the PNW in May. We are hoping to find his forever home before he leaves so he can come right home to you!

Not only is Milo the most handsome boy ever, he truly is an all star dog! Milo is a super happy and friendly dog with everyone he meets! He LOVES to play with other dogs and does phenomenal in group play. He is super energetic and won’t pass up play time with his canine friends. He is also super playful with people and will make sure he’s the center of attention! He can be vocal when playing or super excited; and almost chirps like a bird to let you know when he is! When he bonds with a person he will make sure to give you all his affection and won’t go to bed unless he gets goodnight kisses.

This handsome gentleman also has amazing manners and is doing great with training! He’s completely potty trained. He is kennel trained and knows all his basic commands, and he does great on a leash! Milo is still a young dog and will need a family who is ready to continue his training and build upon the awesome foundation he already has! He is also an active dog and would do best in a home that will take him on lots of adventures; walks, hikes you name it!

Handsome Milo comes fully vetted; he is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and most importantly finished with heartworm treatment! Now all this handsome boy needs is you!
