Pet name:
Great Pyrenees
Welcome Choppo to CCPAL Rescue. He is a 4-year-old beauty. He looks like a Plott Hound and maybe Great Pyrenees. The extra toes on the back feet are a part of the GP breed. He is good with Elizabeth and nice to Vangu at the Rescue. He is a confident boy and would be a nice moderately active dog for some family. He is nice to all people and the only thing we noticed is he didn’t want any scarf or bow tie around his neck. I assume he was caught by the pound with something strong around his neck. He remembers that and he doesn’t like it now. He wasn’t mean but he ducked his head and really squirmed to not have the tie so we decided to let him go without it. He is gorgeous and has a very shinny and beautiful coat. He is good in his kennel and he is kenneled with Elizabeth. He is about 60 pounds and a has a nice muscular physique. He would make a nice walking, jogging or hiking companion. He is a really nice boy and will make some lucky family a great companion. He can be with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He is up on his vaccinations, healthy, neutered and ready for his forever home. He is in Texas and can be adopted locally. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 250 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
