Description:
Meet Allister! This one year old lab/Pyrenees mix is celebrating his freedom and hes looking for a new BFF to join him in all the fun! You see, poor Allister spent the first year of his life hooked up to an outside runner for about 20 hrs a day. His owner would hook him out at about 3 am when they went to work and not bring him back inside until midnight! When they finally realized that is no life for a dog, they tried giving him away on Facebook. Thankfully one of our RMG adopters saw the post and snatched him up quick before he could get into the wrong hands!

Allister is a super handsome, super loving boy who gets along great with pretty much everyone (although he hasnt met any cats yet). He is still quite young, though, and having spent most of his life tethered outside by himself he has a lot of energy and missed out on the basic puppy manners training he should have gotten. Allister will make an amazing addition to an active family who will commit to teaching him how to behave nicely - hes treat driven and aims to please so he should make an excellent student! Allister also needs another energetic playful dog in the home to both help burn some of that energy and teach him some of the lessons he can only learn from another dog.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
