We rescued Roscoe from euthanasia when he was surrendered to a Kansas shelter by his owners. After being at the shelter for 2 months Roscoe found himself on the euthansia list due to lack of space. His owners did not fill out any paperwork on Roscoe so not much was known about his history. What we do know is during his time at the shelter all the volunteers fell in love with him! Hi my name is Roscoe. Im not sure what mixed breed I am but Im a giant love bug and weigh in at 100 lbs. Im tall with a long, lean body and maybe I have some Anatolian Shepherd in me. I love attention from my people, especially being petted and getting belly rubs. You might even call me a velcro dog. When you get home from work, I am happy to greet you. Still playful at 6-8 years old, when I get excited I spin around. I enjoy being outside and like to go for walks. When we first set out on a walk I pull a little and Im a little nervous around cars. I would be happy in a home with another dog, but Im not sure about cats. Because I have some chronic inflammation in my knees, I take a daily anti inflammatory and joint supplement. A home without long flights of stairs would be best for me. My Furever home is out there somewhere I just know it! I am up to date on vaccines, up to date on preventatives, and microchipped. Requirements for adoption: A secure, visible fence. Applicants must pass a home check and a vet check which includes having at least a two year vet history. Roscoe can be adopted in Missouri and surrounding states: Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, and Arkansas. Being fostered in Oak Grove, MO
