If youd like to know more about this dog please visit our website at www.Twyla.org

Remington\xa0is an energetic 3.5-year-old Greater Swiss Mountain dog/Doberman mix (we think)\xa0who likes to play with toys and other dogs. His previous placement\xa0was not working out as he\xa0was more dog than the family and resident dog\xa0were\xa0able to handle. Remington is active and energetic, loves to play ball, is house and crate trained and walks well on leash. He is very smart, learns quickly and wants to please.

Remington is looking for a dog-experienced home that can give him the guidance, training and exercise he needs and craves. He likes playing with other dogs, but has to be reminded not to guard his resources, like toys and food. He loves his people but can be rude meeting new people. He walks well on leash and runs nicely next to a bike for exercise. He likes to follow his person throughout the house to make sure hes not missing anything, especially in the kitchen - he loves Ice cubes!\xa0

As hes a large and somewhat pushy character, hes looking for an large-breed experienced home, with or without a similar sized balanced dog. He takes direction well and is fully crate and house trained.\xa0

***Please note: All dogs are fostered in private homes of volunteers, so to meet a dog please fill out an Adoption Application on our website (http://www.twyla.org/adopt/our-adoption-process) so we may setup a private meetup with the dog or coordinate for an Introduction at the next general Adoption Meet and Greet (as listed on our website: (http://www.twyla.org/upcoming-events), as not all dogs attend all Meet and Greets***
