Meet Jethro, a 1 year old hound mix who weighs approximately 35lbs. This GUY LOVES THE WOMEN IN HIS LIFE. We are unsure of what trauma this pup has had before he arrived in our care, but it has left him with a signifigant fear of men. He is NOT aggressive just very fearful and will hide when a man is near. So what does this mean if you have male visitors? Jethro walks himself into his crate by himself and quietly takes a nap until the guest leaves. (He LOVES his crate cuddled up with a snuggly blanket)  We are seeking a active young female household for Jethro to thrive in. He loves hiking outside and long walks.
This boy is quirky for sure but Jethro is a GREAT DOG! we just need to find him his forever home and it will be one TESTOSTERONE FREE! Jethro is neutered, fully vetted heartworm negative & microchipped. He loves to play with older kids, frolic in the yard (a secure fence is a must) & visit their fosters resident horse! He is also housebroken and crate trained, if fact he LOVES his crate! He’s got a great protective bark but (if approached will run and hide like a scared little girl on Halloween) but he is usually as quiet as a church mouse!
