Backstory:
Theodore was found as a stray and brought into the shelter by animal control. No owner came forward to claim him. He is a young and extremely friendly boy! He would do great in a home with kids as he loves to play, but he can get excitable at times so a home without toddlers may be best as he may accidentally knock them over !

Foster update:
Theodore is a real sweetheart! This handsome guy loves affection from all people, including children and just wants to be with his people as much as possible, he is super friendly and likes meeting new people…he will never turn down an opportunity for a good belly rub! Theodore loves his walks (will pull hard if he sees little critters like squirrels or bunnies) and playing fetch – he’s a very smart boy and has caught on quickly with returning the ball and runs right back for some praise and a quick belly rub!

He has been completely accident free in the home. He is very quiet even when the doorbell rings and doesn’t seem to be bothered by loud noises like fireworks.

Theodore is a counter surfer – we are working on this and it will be important for his forever home to continue this work and remember he can reach any part of the counter or table top if he’s interested in something up there! He will also scoop things like shoes if they are left out but is easily re-directed to proper chew toys or bones. He is food motivated, loves treats and kongs.

Theodore is a lover and content to snuggle and chill out with you after he’s had some good exercise. Often he will go directly to his bed to lay down after a good walk. This wonderful boy will thrive in a forever home with regular exercise, continued training, love and affection – which he will return tenfold!
