Description:
Folsom is one of those amazingly squishy, goofy, and large dogs that have no concept of their own size. His 1-year-old self is best friends with a 6-lb Pom-Chi. This alone makes hearts explode. Folsom loves small stuffed toys and gently carries shoes to where he thinks they should go. He loves to keep a watchful eye over his foster mom when she gardens. Folsom is a sweetheart and in need of an equally sweet and patient forever home.

Folsom was abandoned as a puppy and, before he became a Renegade, passed around a lot. He has no concept of what permanent, unwavering love means and consequently is slow to warm up to new humans. Having a dog sibling that he could lean on in the new home would make all the difference. Because when he does warm up and lets his goofy, playful side shine, it is the best sight: Folsom tosses up his chew bones in the air and skillfully catches them again. He hops like a bunny when he is all excited to go outside. And he greets you with happy howls when you return home to him.

Through it all, Folsom never lost his spark and hopefulness, and above all, his sweet, sweet soul. Apply today if you can see yourself patiently showing this sweetheart how wonderful this world can be.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
